Review: Biore Makeup Remover Cleansing Gel

Biore Makeup Remover Cleansing Gel

So I picked this up in NTUC because my other make-up remover was running low. I’ve used Biore’s Micellar Water as a second step to my cleansing routine, so I figured that I should try another Biore product. How does this product fare? Here are my thoughts:

The Good

Biore Makeup Remover Cleansing Gel

This cleansing gel cost me $9.65, which is really cheap for a make-up removing gel.

True to the description on the package, this gel can indeed dissolve waterproof make-up. But what they don’t tell you is that you need to spend quite a long time rubbing before the gel actually gets the waterproof make-up off >.<

The Bad

I didn’t like how this product made my skin feel after I’ve washed it off. My skin didn’t feel cleaner. In fact, it felt almost oilier, which is something I don’t appreciate. My skin didn’t feel moisturised as well, just…. unclean. Which means that you need to follow up with another facial cleanser.

As mentioned earlier, using this product to remove make-up requires a lonnnngggg time before you get noticeable cleaning done. As someone who wants my cleansing routine to be as quick and efficient as possible, this product doesn’t quite give me that.

Conclusion

Suffice to say, I’m not too keen on this product at all. Apart for its price, I don’t see any reason to purchase this.
